Sunflower Calendar 2027
Annie's August began, like most of the best ideas, in the middle of something really quite difficult.
When I was diagnosed with incurable breast cancer in 2024, my brain — characteristically — refused to sit still. Somewhere between the oncologist's office and getting home, it started making plans. One of those plans was Chronicles of Hope.
Another was this: a campaign rooted in something simple, something growing, something hopeful. Sunflowers felt exactly right.
In 2026 we created a calendar with photos of sunflowers from across the UK, and this year we’re doing it all again!!
We’d like you to submit your photos of sunflowers, whether you’ve grown them yourselves, or just seen them out and about!!
Our judges, to be announced, will then chose 12 photos to feature on our 2027 calendar.
