The Chronicles of Hope Cook Book will be a collection of real recipes, submitted by our wonderful supporters, created for the young adults we exist to help. People who are busy, emotionally stretched, and just need something good to eat at the end of a hard day.
This isn't a glossy chef's cookbook. It's real food, from real people, made with hope.
The finished book will be full of the kind of recipes that actually get made — quick weeknight meals, batch cooking staples, comforting bakes, and budget-friendly suppers. Every recipe will be tried and tested by us, with dietary options including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free and nut free.
The Chronicles of Hope Cook Book will be available to buy in hardcover, paperback and digital formats, with all proceeds supporting our work. It will also be made available completely free of charge to the young adults Chronicles of Hope exists to support.
We're aiming to launch on 1 October 2025 — alongside our sunflower calendar.

Whether it's a trusty weeknight supper, a batch cook hero, a comforting bake, or a family favourite passed down through generations — if it's the kind of food that helps when life gets tough, we want it in this book.
We're particularly keen to receive recipes that are suitable for a range of dietary needs. When you submit, you'll be asked to indicate if you know whether your recipe is suitable for any of the following:
🌱 Vegan
🥦 Vegetarian
🥛 Dairy free
🌾 Gluten free
🥜 Nut free
All dietary information is self-certified by contributors. Please ensure your information is accurate.
Every recipe submitted will be:
And everyone who submits will be named and thanked in the book, whether your recipe makes it into print or not.
Submissions are open now and close on 30 June 2025.
